Description

After your hotel pickup, head to Old Phuket Town to get an idea of the island’s culture and history. Learn about its Sino-Portuguese heritage and architecture before heading to the viewpoint to snap some photos. After a quick lunch break, visit Wat Chalong, the biggest Buddhist temple on the island. Learn about the Buddhist religion and view the 3-story complex filled with Buddha statues. The next stop is Phuket’s very own Big Buddha, which is made of marble. Then drive along the west side of the island on a beautiful coastal road before watching the sunset from the southern tip of the island. Take a tour of a local rum distillery and enjoy a free cocktail while learning about the rum-making process. End your tour back at your hotel after a day exploring the beautiful island of Phuket.
