  • Gain insights into elephant lifestyles and habits from your guide

Description

The experience begins by entering the reserve to meet the elephants, who are often foraging for fresh grass and leaves in the jungle. Your guide introduces you to the herd and shares individual elephant stories while allowing you to observe their behavior.

The elephants typically start with a mud spa, where they mix mud and water with their feet, then blow it over their bodies using their trunks. Afterward, they move to a sand pile, which acts as a natural exfoliant and provides comfort as the sand shifts to their body shapes.

Next, the elephants proceed to a deep pool to cool off by submerging themselves. This water time helps them release body heat and provides relaxation and play.

Once they finish cooling down, the elephants head to the feeding area to eat bananas and sugar cane. They consume 5-10% of their body weight daily and feed continuously throughout the day.

After spending time observing and interacting, you can take final photos before returning safely to your hotel, concluding the visit.
