Description

Start your adventure bright and early with complimentary pickup from your hotel in Khao Lak. Enjoy the sights of local life in the southern part of Thailand as you drive to your first stop. Wang Kiang Koo waterfall, where our local paddlers await us at the river bank. With their gigantic bamboo raft waiting for us to hop on, see our paddler in action maneuvering the raft along the stream of Kiang Koo waterfall. After the unforgettable experience with the bamboo rafting with a blast from the past, enjoy playing in crystal clear refreshing water. Next, visit the Sea Turtle Conservation Center for a close turtle encounter. Hear about their species and how they were rescued. Explore the conservation center and meet different sizes of turtles, species, and colors. Then, visit Wat Lak Kaen. One of the oldest and most significant temples in the area, hear the story of the Buddha's holy relic. From here, head to a local restaurant located at Wang Kiang Koo waterfall and savor a delicious southern Thai set lunch. Quick stop, explore and hear the heartfelt story of Police Boat 813 Bangniang. Once a vigilant guardian of the seas, this vessel met an untimely fate during the devastating tsunami, a poignant reminder of the power of nature. Hear tales of bravery and resilience from local guides, before continuing our next activity. Then, set off on your next adventure visiting an elephant sanctuary and meeting the friendly giants. Hear about their individual stories and how they were rescued. Interact with them by giving a meal for the elephants with the loving elephant carer (mahout), then bathe the elephants in a fun mud spa. Lastly, feed them from your own hands while taking some exciting new photos for your Instagram. After your adventurous day, hop back on the van transferring back to your hotel.
