90-Minute Elephant Adventure at Phuket Elephant Nature Reserve Discover Phuket’s award-winning ethical sanctuary where rescued elephants live peacefully in natural jungle. Expect a fully hands-off experience—no riding, no bathing, no chains—designed around elephant welfare and education. WELCOME & ORIENTATION Meet your guide for a short briefing on safety, welfare principles, and how we care for elephants rescued from trekking, logging, and street-begging. Hear the rescue stories of our elephants—Lotus, Bow, Thonglor, Nong Tang, and Mae Boon Lai. ENRICHMENT PREP At the Elephant Kitchen, help prepare simple enrichment treats (seasonal fruit, fiber, and herbs). These stimulate natural foraging behaviors and support daily nutrition. It’s a hands-on activity for you—hands-off for elephants. JUNGLE OBSERVATION WALK Follow shaded forest trails to observe elephants roaming, foraging, dust-bathing, and socializing at their own pace. Your guide interprets behavior, diet, communication, and individual personalities, so you can connect responsibly from a respectful distance. SUPERVISED FEEDING (HANDS-OFF) When appropriate, staff will safely stage a short, supervised feeding with food prepared by our team—no touching, pushing, or posing. Photography is welcome from the designated viewing area. FAREWELL Wrap up with time for photos and questions.
