Boathouse Wine & Grill at Boathouse Resort on the Beach on Kata Beach is considered by many as the island's finest restaurant. Chef Bryan Burger oversees the happenings in the kitchen. Only the best Kobe beef and Australian lamb are to be found on the menu. For gourmets there is also a delicious four-course Thai or French degustation menu, which includes a glass of wine with each course.

Over 26 fine wines including champagne can be ordered by the glass; the wine cellar lists a staggering 750 wines to choose from. And even with a 400% tax and import duty slapped on wines, the Boathouse has succeeded in keeping the prices affordable.

Happy Hour from 5 - 7 pm is the perfect time for sun downers in the lounge before dinner. The spectacular sunset is certainly a fitting start of your memorable evening at the Boathouse.
