One of the most popular bars on Phi Phi Don, Hippies Bar is more than just a place to drink. With a unique atmosphere and night life, this place to go offers a unique setting with good entertainment.
This beachside place to go is also a restaurant and is known for its seafood until roughly 9 at night when the party begins. Music is an important element of Hippies with rock 'n roll being favoured. The real favourite are the nightly fire dancing shows which provide most of the entertainment. Locally it's called 'poi' and involves swinging pieces of burning rope around in circles in a show with firebrands often moving to the beat of the music.
