Description
Escape Phuket for two days and spend a night on Cheow Lan Lake in Khao Sok National Park. This small group tour (up to 11 travelers) combines temples, waterfalls, jungle scenery and a night in a lakeside cabin. Hotel transfers, meals and park fees are included.
Day 1: Your minivan picks you up from your hotel in Phuket between 06:00 and 07:00. Stop at the Wat Suwan Kuha cave temple, cool off at Raman Waterfall and visit the Rama X temple, Wat Bang Thong, in Krabi. At Cheow Lan Lake, board a longtail boat and cruise between limestone cliffs to your lakeside cabin. Enjoy lunch at a lake restaurant, then swim or paddle a canoe in your free time. At sunset, join an evening boat safari on the lake and see the Guilin limestone cliffs. Dinner is served at a lake restaurant.
Day 2: Check out at 09:00 and have breakfast at the lake. Float down the Khlong Sok river on a bamboo raft, with tea or coffee in a bamboo cup as a gift. Enjoy lunch at Bridge Hill restaurant, then stop at the Samet Nangshe viewpoint for panoramic views over Phang Nga Bay and at a traditional Thai herbal medicine shop. Return to your Phuket hotel at about 17:00.
Good to know
Cabins have air conditioning, a shower and a toilet and are shared by two people. Cabin type depends on the date. Electricity at the lake is available in the evening only. The order of stops may change. Please wear modest clothes covering shoulders and knees at the temples. Please give your hotel name and WhatsApp number when booking: the driver will message you the evening before the tour.
