Learn to cook Thai food, an increasingly popular cuisine in the world with its delicious and varied flavours, at the home of Pat Tienthong. Pat offers Thai cooking lessons with a hands-on approch where traditional methods of preparing dishes are taught. Arguably, the bonus is in the eating of the food afterwards. At the end of the course, participants receive a certificate and recipes.
Pat has experience in both Thai and Western cooking. Should ingredients be difficult to find in one's home country, Pat can sugges alternatives which will help to retain the authenticity of the dish.
Day classes include a trip to the local market to select the freshest ingredients for the dishes. Pat instructs on how to select the best ingredients and will describe how each one makes Thai cuisine unique. There are private dining classes and a traditional Thai fruits and vegetables carving class.
