Krabi Airport Information

Krabi International Airport is southern Thailand's newest international airport and is located 15 kilometres from Krabi town. Mostly serving domestic flights and transfer passengers, the airport does handle a few direct international flights from Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Singapore and Darwin (Australia). Nevertheless, most long-haul passengers still arrive via Bangkok and it is still common for visitors headed for Krabi to transfer by road from Phuket Airport.

Transferring to your hotel or resort

Your best bet for getting to your hotel is to pre-book an airport transfer when reserving your accommodation. This may already be included by your tour operator - check it out. If you've arranged this, you'll find someone waiting just outside the arrivals hall with your name on a placard; take your time and look carefully - it can be a bit chaotic!
