The longest-running superyacht event in Asia, the Asia Superyacht Rendezvous brings the largest gathering of sailing and power superyachts. The event offers owners, captains and crews the opportunity for superyachts to come together for relaxed and fun shared times and to experience Thailand and for organisers, the opportunity to position Phuket as a destination as the 'Superyacht Hub of Asia'. Guests enjoy three days on and off the water and two race events, and luxurious parties at The Surin. A highlight is the model boat race, a competition in which teams must construct yachts and then enter them in the gutter race.
Entry to the rendezvous is limited to invitation only. Also, the boat must be over 100 feet in length. The event enjoys the sponsorship of Feadship, a Dutch yacht builder, that is acknowledged as global leader in the construction of premium motor yachts.
The event is held December 16-18 each year.
