Enjoy a hands-on 1-hour experience that begins with an introduction to our elephants and their hill tribe caretakers. Discover how we care for elephants retired from tourism and learn about the deep connection between each mahout and their elephant. Take a peaceful walk into the forest alongside the elephants as they roam, forage, and interact naturally. Our guides will share insights into their behavior, body language, and daily care routines. Finish by preparing their food—help cut banana trees and fresh grass from our garden. It’s a meaningful and fun way to support their well-being while connecting with these gentle giants. During your visit to the sanctuary, take time to relax and enjoy the serene environment. Hand on herbal elephant food and feed them from your hand. Spend time meeting other elephants and soaking in the natural surroundings before heading back to your hotel.
