The Bay Regatta, formerly known as The Phang Nga Bay Regatta, offers four amazing race days through some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. The focus of the event is in establishing a fun competition that showcases the true beauty of Thailand's three provinces of Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi. The Regatta welcomes cruising yachts as well as avid racers although the overall focus ia on having a good time. As a 'sleep-aboard' Regatta, the yachts are able to visit interesting and unusual parts of the Bay area and to enjoy five party nights in these exotic locations. 'The Party that Sails Around.....'
Party venues are chosen for the variety of lifestyles available in the region and include opulent 5-star resorts as well as local seafood restaurants.
More than 50 yachts with over 300 local and international crew members compete in this annual event, which will see its 19th running in 2016.
The dates for the 2016 regatta are February 17 - 21.
