Mama Mia, pizza to die for! Tucked in a small soi in Chalong, Agli Amici is a pizzeria and pasta place that has the earned the reputation as having some of the best pizza on the island and at very resonable prices.
Agli Amici is housed a small shophouse style building with a minimal no frills décor. It is run by two Italian pizza masters, Michele and Jimmy.
The thin crust pizza is cooked in a real Italian wood-fired oven and served fresh and hot out of the oven in three sizes to eat in the restaurant or to take away. A sampling of pizzas from the 46-item pizza menu are the Ivan with mozzarella, tomato, mushroom, bacon and salami, Proscuitto e funghi with mozzarella, tomato sauce, ham and mushrooms, Amici with mozzarella, blue cheese, onion and walnuts and the Caprese with mozzarella, cherry tomato and rocket salad.
