Scheduled to open in late 2014, Port Takola in Krabi will be the area's newest marina offering easy access to the islands and beaches of Krabi and Phang Nga.
250 berths will accommodate yachts from 10 to 35 metres. The depth of the marina will be a minimum of 2.5 metres and there will be a 24 hour access to the entrance channel. Boats can stay all year round as the marina is sheltered. Other facilities include: dry storages, fuel station, slipway and wastewater pump out. Services include 24 hour security, water & electricity, launch & haul out, repairs & maintenance and chandleries.
The aim of the development is to be a waterfront community. Residences will be available in the future along with berths.
The marina is 30 nautical miles east of Phuket, 10 minutes from Ao Nang and is a 40 minute drive from Krabi International Airport.
