Winner of the Thai National Championship for Bouldering/Difficulty in 2002, On The Rocks co-owner Yhu Abuwa has been climbing and instructing in Krabi since 1999.
On the Rocks offers courses for climbers of all abilities and experience, from the novice to the professional. From introductory half-day course for beginners to three-day course and private instruction for professionals, Yhu can meet the needs of each climber. For experienced climbers, Yhu offers 'Get to the Top o Tonsai', multi-pitch rock climbing course.
Passionate about climbing, Yhu and his wife Louise ensure that all the guides share in the energy and enthusiasm. Their careful instructional techniques are beneficial to climbers of all levels.
The On the Rocks climbing shop stocks a wide range of new climbing equipment for sale as well as top quality equipment for rent.
All equipment that is for rent is performance tested and replaced regularly. The sale range includes: FIVE.TEN Shoes, Black Diamond Equipment, ON THE ROCKS Clothing, Climbing Guidebooks and much more. The store has a complete set of rescue equipment (including stretcher, arm and leg braces, neck collars, First Aid etc).
