Now that's Italian! Mare Italian Restaurant at Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket serves traditional and modern Italian dishes. Pizza and pasta is available during the day and during the evening, diners can be tempted with a variety of classical Italian dishes. Chef Matteo Verini is responsible for steering the menu and delights diners with well-known dishes including antipasto selection, sampler platters and stone baked pizzas. Tagliatelle al salmone aff umicato, limone e caviale avruga, home-made tagliatelle pasta with smoked salmon capriccio, lemon zest and avruga caviar and Ravioli ripieni di manzo brasato con emulsione di olio al tartufo bianco and home-made braised wagyu beef ravioli served in a white truffle oil emulsion are just two dishes on the menu to try. Polish your meal off with a decadent dessert such as Mousse al cioccolato con carpaccio di mango, dark chocolate mousse with carpaccio mango.
This signature restaurant of the hotel has a bar, a wine room with a selection of wines to be paired with a meal. Enjoy great food and drinks at this venue, which overlooks the Andaman Sea.
Mare Italian Restaurant also offers a superb Sunday Brunch consisting of dishes such as roasted lamb, appetisers and salads, a foie gras station, carving station, pizza table and a barbecue grill that features tiger prawns, Canadian lobster and rib eye. Sunday Brunch is available from 12 to 2:30pm.
